One of the quotes that came up on Wait Wait Don't Tell Me just now reminded me of an idea I had a while ago: with the proliferation of college bowl games these days, I though, why not have a game to determine the worst team in the country? In basketball, there could be a whole losers tournament. The games would be as interesting as the bloopers videos people have proven willing to pay money for. It would be interesting to see whether the games would be high scoring because of bad defense, or low scoring because of bad offense.
