Saw blades, arrows, and concrete

In my dream, we were standing in front of a garage door. There was a device like a long table saw the stretched across the entire door which had perhaps 5 or 6 blades in a row, spaced about 3 feet apart. When a piece of wood was pushed in from one end, it would automatically be pulled by each of the blades in turn while being cut, and pushed into the next one, till it shot (not too quickly, but quickly enough) off the other end. Since there were people feeding in wood from both ends, this was sometimes a little dangerous.I later noticed that the building was perhaps 4 stories high, and there was a similar sawing system on each level, one above another. When something was sawed on the top level, a piece of paper would drop, which I believe was supposed to trigger sawing or something on the lower levels. But as paper doesn't always float down nicely to just were you want it to, the system seemed unlikely to work reliably. I thought a little of putting in some kind of computer system that would scan the wood as it went across the first blade on the top level, and then use network connections to send commands to the lower levels.
On the top level, perhaps in the same dream and perhaps in another, there were some people throwing an arrow at a paper target that was suspended with no backing so that the arrow would pass all the way through the target. I threw an arrow at it, and made the first hole right through the center. I had noticed previously that a former co-worker was doing something (working on a computer, I believe) a little way behind the target, but had figured that if that spot hadn't been dangerous yet, it should still be fine. However, my arrow glanced off the top of his shoulder, creating a little commotion.
Again on the top level, perhaps in a different dream, one of my uncles lived in the right-most part of the building. All around his house was paved in concrete, and there was a large raised platform to the right and in front of his residence. I believe it was used for dance or other performances. I spent some time working out some modern dance moves on the concrete area behind the platform.
