How Very Ironic of You, SpamArrest…

I got another of those emails from SpamArrest today asking me to verify that one of the emails to my mailing list wasn't spam. This time, something on SpamArrest's website struck me as ironic, if not downright hypocritical.
SpamArrest is a whitelisting service -- they block email from anyone who the recipient hasn't opted in to receive. The verification process enables senders to opt-in in behalf of the recipient (who I presume can block you if they wish).
How odd then that they send you an email by default after you've completed the verification! Yes, you can opt out by unchecking the box, but as far as I know, you can't opt out of having that box checked every time you arrive at the page...at least not without using a third-party solution like GreaseMonkey.
