When scooping ice cream with a regular spoon, you can either let the ice cream sit out long enough that it softens a little, or use proper scooping technique as follows:<\/p>\n
1) Hold the spoon near the base of the handle to reduce the probability of applying excessive torque to bent part of the handle<\/p>\n
2) Insert the spoon straight into the ice cream<\/p>\n
3) Only after the spoon has been inserted should you apply leverage to separate the scoop from the ice cream that remains in the container<\/p>\n
By following these simple guidelines, you will enjoy many years of ice cream eating with the same spoon.<\/p>\n
