III<\/p>\n
Here are lame, atrocious bills-
\nBogus bills!
\nOf attempt at trickery, their stationery smells!
\nWith a sneaky sneer of spite
\nHow they seem almost alright!
\nTo unlucky souls they say
\n\"Here's what you must pay, pay,
\nSend it soon.\"
\nCleptomaniacs appealing for the money of the crier,
\nIt's a bad, bad, bad extortion by a dull, unfeeling liar,
\n\"Send by Western Union wire\",
\nDesperate measures they inspire,
\nThus a remittance thy sever
\nFrom the poor sucker, who never
\nBought a thing from the bald-faced goon.
\nOh, the bills, bills, bills!
\nWhat a trial their theft instills
\nSo unfair!
\nHow they claim our cash and more!
\nWith their hoaxes they implore
\nUs to borrow from our pals to pay our fare!
\nMore, the errant bully took-
\nHe was gleaning
\nE'en while cleaning
\nOut the duffers' pocket book.
\nThen, the thief discreetly leaves,
\nCoins a jangling,
\nHe's done wrangling.
\nHow the digger stinks, me grieves!
\nOh, the stinking and the smelling and the danger of the bills-
\nOf the bills-
\nOf the bills, bills, bills, bills,
\nBills, bills, bills-
\nOh my anger and my rancor at the bills!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
